Optional services

While many members wish only the most simple care (usually with separately-arranged memorial services later) something more may sometimes be desired or required by circumstances (e.g., autopsy, embalming, casket for viewing, etc.). To meet such needs, optional services are available at Society-contracted prices, to be added to the selected basic service plan.

Payment for mortuary care

All payments for service are made directly to the mortuary, not to the Society. The Society's role is limited to arranging contracts for service plans and prices, and providing materials for members to use in making mortuary arrangements. What is arranged and how payment is made is a matter between the member and the mortuary. No advance payments are required, but the mortuary does have an advance payment plan for those who wish to use it.
